Carrie Hiebert
Working for Morden-Winkler
A lifelong Pembina Valley resident, small business owner, and former healthcare leader, Carrie Hiebert has championed rural healthcare, mental health, and affordability for Morden-Winkler families since her election in 2023 guided by faith, family values, and a genuine commitment to results.
Why Carrie Hiebert?
Deeply rooted in the Pembina Valley, Carrie Hiebert brings a rare combination of healthcare experience, small business ownership, and genuine community service to representing Morden-Winkler.
Carrie has built her life in this region raising her family and dedicating herself to the organizations and causes that make the Morden–Winkler area strong. Before serving as MLA, she ran the Palliative Care Program at Boundary Trails Health Centre, giving her firsthand insight into the healthcare challenges facing rural Manitobans and the compassion required to address them.
As a small business owner, she understands what local entrepreneurs need a growing economy, less red tape, and a government that gets out of the way. She has also worked in federal politics and served on provincial and national conservative boards, bringing real policy experience to the Legislature from day one.
Since being elected in 2023, Carrie has championed transitional housing, rural mental health supports, and legislation to reduce red tape for farmers. She has shown up for wildfire evacuees and promoted women's leadership in her community because for Carrie, public service is not a position. It's a calling.
Guided by kindness, honesty, and truth Carrie Hiebert serves Morden-Winkler with integrity, compassion, and a deep love for this community.

Why Edna Nabess?
Everything I am today began here in northern Manitoba.
I was born in Cormorant, raised in the traditions of Mathias Colomb Cree Nation, built a business in The Pas, and have spent my life working alongside families and communities throughout the North. The people, cultures, and communities of The Pas–Kameesak have shaped who I am. This is home.
I am running because I believe our communities deserve a strong voice someone who understands the North not because they've read about it, but because they've lived it.
Throughout my life, I have worked to create opportunities for others. Whether supporting Indigenous entrepreneurs, raising a family, opening my home to foster children, helping young people in remote communities, or serving on provincial boards, my purpose has always been the same: to leave my community stronger than I found it.
I believe The Pas–Kameesak has one of the brightest futures in Manitoba. Our region is home to hardworking people, proud Indigenous communities, abundant natural resources, thriving tourism, forestry, mining, fishing, trapping, agriculture, and small businesses that have supported northern families for generations. We have everything we need to succeed. What we need is leadership that believes in our people, works in partnership with our communities, and creates the opportunities that will keep our young people here, attract new investment, and build a stronger future for everyone.
I want to be a strong voice for every community across this riding from The Pas and Opaskwayak Cree Nation to Cormorant, Moose Lake, Pukatawagan, Grand Rapids, Easterville, and every community in between. Every community deserves to be heard. Every family deserves opportunity. Every young person deserves a reason to build their future right here in northern Manitoba.
Politics has never been my ambition. Service has. Serving as your MLA is simply another way I can continue the work I have dedicated my life to listening to people, bringing communities together, and helping build a stronger future for northern Manitoba.
If you place your trust in me, I promise to work hard every day to earn it. I will listen with respect, lead with integrity, and always put the people of The Pas–Kameesak first.
Everything I am began here in northern Manitoba. I believe in the people of northern Manitoba. I always have, and I always will.
Rural Crime Demands Leadership and Action
