Statement on the Turtle Mountain Nomination Process

The Progressive Conservative Party of Manitoba has determined that Wally Daudrich will not be permitted to seek the Party's nomination in Turtle Mountain.

In accordance with Article XVIII (2) of the Party Constitution, we provide our membership with the following reasons for the Party's decision:

  1. Repeated disparaging comments regarding current and former Progressive Conservative MLAs.

  2. The use of third-party membership and contact lists in connection with Party activities.

  3. Mr. Daudrich's refusal to provide written assurance that any threatened litigation involving the Leader, MLAs, and other Party officials has been withdrawn and will not proceed.

As a result, Mr. Daudrich's application to seek the nomination was denied.
